Hey Little Birdie!

Faux Bois Notebook in Walnut

Lists, lists, lists… all of my friends know I am a sucker for a list. Oh, and I don’t limit my listing exercises to simple daily to-do’s or trips to the grocery store… that’s the stuff of amateurs. I take my compulsion to a whole other level. I have a list for paint colors I like, a list for projects around the house (this has subcategories of timeline distinctions like “quick” versus “someday in my dreams”), a list of songs I want to download, and books to read. I could go on… but that seems like it would just feed in to my list making obsession. (wink, wink)

Anyway, this post isn’t about me… well, it’s kind of about me. But honestly, it’s about this Faux Bois Notebook in Walnut. What a perfectly beautiful tableau for my list-making fixation. And it contains re-purposed paper… and a stunning, durable cover… it’s affordable… unique… I think you see where this is going…

  1. Cute notebook, I am glad there are people in this world that like notes and lists and organization.

When Matt and I got engaged, my two wonderful sister-in-laws filled up a whole box of wedding magazines and books, a wedding binder (tabs were labeled with items that I would need to think about for the wedding), a notepad to jot notes and reeses pieces.

I was so overwhelmed. The resses pieces were calming though :)

Alex ended up having to make a list of things to do and put them on google calendar for me and I would knock them out each week.

This wedding wouldn’t have happened without them!

Also, when we got married, Matt was in charge of organizing the cupboards.

On a side note, I think you may need a list for all your lists! ;)

  3. Great find Jina. I love the re-purposed paper part the best! You’ve totally inspired me to make a list of lists to make. *Hooray for being organized*
