Penguin Classic Hardback Books
Let’s try something… let’s combine three of my favorite things – Anthropologie, Jane Austen, and reading… come on, it’s the trifecta, otherwise known as a the perfect gift for yours truly. My sweet husband, knowing me so well after 11 years of marriage, purchased said book for moi for Christmas this year. My goal in penning this post is that I will remind him how much I adore this gift, so that he will go back and buy me more!
Enough about me and my selfish pursuits, let’s talk about you… and this collection of books. Penguin Classic hardbacks include such masterpieces as Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Great Expectations, and several other Jane Austen finds. And you can get them for $20 a piece at one of our favorite wonderlands, Anthropologie. Husbands, you’re welcome in advance.
I’m so EXCITED!! I clicked through your link and found that they’ve expanded the collection past what they had before (Austen, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Great Expectations). I already own all of these books hardcover, so it’s difficult to not feel a little guilty buying them … again.
But now they have a few more! Cranford, Treasure Island, the Picture of Dorian Gray, Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland, etc. So lovely.
I may have to do some birthday hinting to my husband!!! What’s better than pretty books, really.

Natalie, I noticed how many more they have as well. It’s a pretty decent selection.
Plus I much rather own 10 great hardback books than 50 paperbacks (that I will only read once). So… it’s an investment, really.
