Project Pantry
Remember when I said for my New Years goals that I wanted to tackle one space in my home every month to organize? Well, I’ve been sorta kinda keeping to it. I’ve fancied up a few of my closets and started an overhaul of my kitchen pantry by purchasing a few fabric bins. In all, it has been a much bigger undertaking than I expected. And with all of the medical stuff going on for my daughter lately, I have let this goal of mine sit on the back burner. Then I stumbled upon a post from the awesome Dana at House Tweaking and my jaw dropped at her pantry of perfection. Talk about inspiration.
She even painted the outside of her pantry door in chalkboard.
So I got to thinking, I should show you all the current sad/messy state of my pantry and then keep you updated on the progress to make it more like my inspiration pantry above. Deal? Okay, here is the disaster area in all its glory.
I need to purge, order, and pretty it up. I’m also going to paint my door just like Dana’s! it would be the perfect place to jot down shopping lists or sweet little notes to my husband. So consider this the start of Operation Pantry Rescue at the Vender casa!
I love it! Totally do it… and fast. I can’t wait to see the final product.

I love the chalkboard door and baskets/containers! Fun! If you are in the purging mood, fill free to give me those pistachios and cadbury eggs I found in there…

That is awesome! I am looking forward to seeing your progress! If you post progress pics it will feel like I am involved in the process and that way I can have a vicariously clean pantry through you. Ha! Have you seen this pantry? http://bit.ly/dJbB2K It haunts me, in a good way.

kathy- haha, there is lots of food to the side that is hidden from the camera. it was hard to get a good pic with of the angles. but when i post my progress, i will take more pictures of it all!
