Paper Source Goodness
So I think I’ve fallen in love with the store Paper Source, and since they aren’t in Arizona (fingers crossed that maybe someday they will be), I have to explore their options strictly online. But don’t worry, I have already started shopping. Some of my favs are…
…These 2 calendars…
The first one can be re-used as a file folder or pillow box. Thanks to the templates printed on the back. The second has quotes, which I am always a sucker for.
…And some of the best wrapping paper I’ve ever seen… which could totally be used in traditional or non-traditional ways, including lining simple white frames or a tray you picked up at your last thrift store excursion.
Happy Shopping!
Three Potato Four Paper Packs
I don’t feel very creative today. Do you ever have days like that? I feel totally unmotivated and slightly incoherent. So, that should make for a fun blog post, right? Anyway, when I do feel inventive again, I intend to purchase this.
I mean, I love typography and graphic elements in any form, i.e. decorating, gift wrapping, anything. (See, I could come up with more than two examples if today held any more imagination for me.) Maybe you could help me out, what would you do with such an amazing collection? Inspire me… please.
Oh, and totally check out everything at Three Potato Four. They are incredible!
Feature Post: Birth Announcements
I think it might be safe to say there is a baby boom around me. It feels like every other week I hear about another friend or family member who is “with child”. And now that my little Lyla is moving in to full-on toddler-dom (see: temper tantrums, climbing on EVERYthing, and an upcoming absence of the pacifier), I am anxious to snuggle with these soon-to-be loved ones.
So for those of you who are expecting or close to one who is, I present to you … (drum roll) … birth announcements. Ah, the obligatory piece of mail that proclaims to the world that your little bean is now visible to more than just the ultrasound tech.
With the options online, these declarations of the “miracle of life” can be creative, hip, clever, and stylish. Two of my favorite sites for said purpose are Paper Culture and Minted. See what I mean…
Even as I was typing up this post, I called my sister (who is expecting in September) and told her that I had some sites to show her. She said I could pick out her announcements for Baby Not-Yet-Named. I’m not sure if she was serious, but if she was… Jennifir, here is my choice:
(This one screams my sister.)
Of course it would herald a photo of baby niece what’s-her-name, taken courtesy of my photographer husband, but I digress.
More importantly, which would you choose?
